Now I don't know if these 90s labeled speakers were what Trucks used: They were very good fender style speakers for $30 (maybe even less!)which is why we got them being college students at the time. Between the other guitarist in my old band and myself we had a 1x15, 2x10, and 2x12 (total 5) Pyle speakers. The last Pyle instrument speakers I know of were in the early 90s and were all over Musicians Friend when they were a phone/mail order house as inexpensive replacement speakers. Prior to that they made all kinds of speakers and CTS was one of the sources for fender. ![]() Similar to how Altec Lansing is now only (or mostly) multimedia spekers, Pyle went in the direction of car audio. Yes, it was CTS speakers with a name change, and later a direction change. It's an old thread, but to add to the Pyle comments.
